“Remember not the former things,
nor consider the things of old.
Behold, I am doing a new thing;
now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?
I will make a way in the wilderness
and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:18-19
This verse has been charging out at me for days. God is taking me somewhere I hadn’t anticipated, new directions, a new season- teaching me to trust. And though it’s winter outside, it feels like spring in this heart-
Seeds are sprouting-
Leaves, unfurling and opening up to the Son, recieving dew drops that drip steady these days, a constant raining of manna-
And I face the gifts that won’t stop with a heart that churns overwhelmed, and excited. The swam of butterflies swirling inside keep me tipsy with joy that comes deep up from my toes.
Behold, I am doing a new thing.
I stand in awe of this God who makes dreams come true, who brings for fruit in it’s season.
When Denise asked me if I would be a part of Sisters In Bloom, I was surprised to say the least, and thrilled and honored and humbled and amazed at this new, unsolicited opportunity. God is doing a new thing. I pray, sweet friends, that you will come and see, come and join us, and experience what He is doing.
Walk with me into new spaces and meet the sisters who journey with you.
I can’t wait to meet you in this space.
