Weekend Wanderings

Join me this weekend in praying for the families of those affected by the tragic shooting in Connecticut and the many other victims of violence in this country and around the world. May the comfort of Christ surround them, and bring them peace in their mourning.
As the darkness presses in, we cling to the Light of the World;

For God, who said, “Let there be light in the darkness,” has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ. (2 Corinthians 4:6)

    Yes. The Word and His heart and how through Him we focus on the dear, sad-hearted ones; this is what counts right now… and for quite some time.

    Thank you.

    He takes our mourning and turns it into dancing, He takes our weeping and turns it into joy. Thank you for linking up and praying!

    Hi Kris
    You picture tells such a story of hope. I am thinking of the tragedy in China as well on Friday! Praying with you!
    Bless you

    This is a perfect picture of a woman who mourns but, at the same time, declares her freedom.
