May your wanderings this weekend be joyful and peaceful. Praying the grace and hope of Christ fill you, and lift you as you lower yourself before Him.

I’m spending this weekend with a group of ladies at a women’s retreat. This is my first speaking engagement since publishing the book, and you all have overwhelmed with your prayers. Thank you, my friends. There are not words to express my gratitude.

PS: This ridiculously amazing deal?–It’s nearly over! You can still get your bundle if you purchase it before Saturday, 11:59PM. When you purchase through this affiliate link, I make a small commission from the sale–thank you for supporting me!

Some good reads for your weekend:

“Isn’t this the best use of a platform? To set a table on it and invite your friends over for a meal?” This post from my friend, Deidra is awesome.

Margaret Feinburg joined us over on the Living the Story column at BibleDude.net. Stop by to read not only her wonderful post, but the many awesome link-ups by others.

This video was created for Mothers Day, from a post written by the awesome Lisa-Jo. Watch it, and be encouraged, my fellow Moms.

Praying your wanderings and gatherings this weekend would be blessed with the joy and knowledge that wherever you are,

Christ is in your midst. We are never alone!

It’s not too late, join a meet up for in(RL) and share in the blessing of face-to-face community.

A few things for your weekend:

Changes are coming to the blog. Stay tuned, because there are going to be some pretty awesome giveaways to celebrate with! More on this soon.

Looking for some good outdoor fun this weekend? Check out my Garden board on Pinterest for some ideas for outdoor projects.

Christa Wells and Nicole Witt have teamed up again for their debut album, as More Than Rubies, which released on Wednesday of this week, and I bought it immediately. It is so beautiful. More on this soon, but for now, you can hear a little here:(Subscribers, click this link)

This, from my dear friend, Jennifer, “ Self-accusation is like dirty laundry. And dear Lord? Can you help us  separate the lights from the darks?” It’s worth a read.

Friends, the blog will be a bit quiet this coming week, while I’ll be taking a break from social media, and also speaking at a retreat in Alabama. I covet your prayers for this time away, for both my family and for myself, that I would hear the message the Lord would have me share. Please pray for safe travel and for good health. We’ve had  quite a run of illness here lately. Thank you!
